Important 2025-2026 Schedule Information
Schedules for the 2025-26 school year will be available to preview on July 23-24 in HAC. When viewing schedules, please keep in mind the following:
- Class periods and teachers may still change before the finalized release of schedules. Student course placement will not change, but schedules may change due to continued roster balancing. Please continue to check HAC through Friday, August 8 for the most current, accurate schedule.
- Newly hired teachers may be represented by a placeholder on your student’s schedule.
- Students who have not completed their Return to School Verification, submitted updated residency information or immunization records (rising 7th graders), will not have a schedule viewable in HAC during preview. If you need to submit paperwork, please do so as soon as possible. Please allow three business days for paperwork to be updated in the system and a schedule to appear on HAC.
If you wish to request to have your student’s schedule reviewed because you believe an error was made, a course change request MUST be submitted using this link: Schedule Change Request Form (Please note that this form will not accept submissions until July 23 and will stop accepting submissions on Friday, July 25 @ 5PM). Below are the reasons that will be considered to request a schedule correction:
v You have a hole in your schedule (meaning there is a period without a class assigned).
v Your schedule contains a course you have already completed with a passing grade.
v You have the same class listed twice.
This will be the only way to request a scheduling correction. To ensure all requests are documented and received, scheduling concerns sent any other way cannot be considered. Unfortunately, due to the decline in our enrollment, requests for elective course changes cannot be considered. Thank you for following the schedule change request procedures.
TRANSPORTATION UPDATE
Beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, all student pick-up and drop-off times and locations will be provided exclusively through BusPlanner and will no longer be available on Home Access Center (HAC). Families are encouraged to login to the BusPlanner website or the Chipmunk app to create an account before the end of the school year. This will help ensure that you are able to access your child’s 2025-2026 bus schedule when schedules are released during the last week of July 2025. Detailed instructions showing how to login to BusPlanner and Chipmunk, and how to access your child’s bus schedule, are now available on the school district website. If you have any questions or need any assistance with your BusPlanner account, please contact Routing Specialist Tiffany Bravo at [email protected]

FAST Testing VOlunteers
for the entirety of the time window you are volunteering for. Per State Testing guidelines proctors may not enter a room with a student who is related to them - for that reason it is recommended that volunteers select dates for grade levels they do not have children related to them currently enrolled. Thank you!
Schoology Information
Parents,
Landrum has recently begun a pilot program with the Schoology learning management system. Schoology is a secure online program that serves as a central hub for learning. Teachers can create, manage and share information and resources with their students. Students using Schoology can get class assignments, link to readings and guides selected by their teacher, collaborate with classmates, take tests and quizzes, and work on self-paced learning activities. Here at Landrum, all teachers will be posting Daily Board Agendas (DBAs) to ensure all students and parents know what is being taught in the classroom. Parents and students are given login information.

Cell Phones
Students using their cell phone devices/earbuds during the school day has become an issue. Board policy require that all electronic devices be turned off, stored in student’s backpack, purse, or locker. The device shall not be used during the school day without administrative approval (classroom teacher) or on school buses to and from school. Electronic devices must remain stored during classroom transitional periods. Failure to comply may result in the device being confiscated. Repeated failure to comply will be considered defiance of school rules.
Attendance
Any student who has been absent from school shall provide a note from a parent or guardian within forty-eight (48) hours of returning to school stating the cause of the absence. If the student missed school due to an appointment, a note from the provider must be turned in within forty-eight (48) hours of returning to school. Failure to provide a note will result in an automatic unexcused absence. Notes can be turned in at the Front Office or emailed to [email protected]
However, the fact that the student provides a note does not require the school administration to excuse the absence. The principal or designee will decide whether the absence meets the criteria for an excused absence, and that decision will be final.
After fifteen (15) days of absence, whether excused or unexcused, a student must present verification from a licensed doctor for all subsequent absences due to illness.
